AMD Duron Mobile at 1.0 GHz: Advanced Micro Devices has pushed its low end mobile processor to 1.0 GHz. Like the most recent desktop Duron processor the new Mobile chip is based on the Morgan core. It still features 128k of L1 and 64k of L2 cache, and the system bus still runs at 200 MHz (doubled). In quantities of 1000 units the new CPU costs 160 US$. (AMD)

Pentium III mit 1.33 GHz: Intel hat seinen Pentium III mit 256k L2 Cache (Tualatin Core) auf 1.33 GHz beschleunigt. Im Gegensatz zum Tualatin mit 512k L2, den es bisher mit max. 1.26 GHz Taktrate gibt, eignet sich dieser Prozessor nicht für den Dualbetrieb.
